On 15th September 2012 I will be taking part in the Cancer Connect Charity Cycle from Clonakilty to Kinsale. There are two route options, but I am going to do the main 60 mile (100km) route: Clonakilty – Bandon – Ballinhassig – Belgooley – Kinsale – Kilbrittain – Timoleague – Clonakilty
Please sponsor me as I take on this challenge to support a very worthy cause.
If you prefer to donate via cheque, please post to O’Mahony Donnelly, 10 McCurtain Hill, Clonakilty, County Cork, Ireland and make the cheque out to Ann Donnelly (and I will pay on) or West Cork Rural Transport.
About Cancer Connect
Cancer Connect is an initiative of West Cork Rural Transport that provides free transport for patients in West Cork who need to travel to Cork hospitals for cancer treatments like chemotherapy, radiotherapy, etc. See more here: http://www.ruraltransport.ie/cancer-connect/. Unfortunately we know a number of people that would use such a service as they either do not have someone that can take them on the hour+ ride to Cork on a regular basis — or they would rather not burden their friends or family members to take time off work to provide the transportation.

I thank you in advance for your support for this great cause. I will be acknowledging all my sponsors here on my blog and via Facebook and Twitter, unless you note that you prefer to remain anonymous. Please make payment before 15th September 2012 so that I can provide the details on the day of the cycle.
